STARING AT STONES


Staring at Stones takes a closer look at Council’s southern roots and personal history by exploring the culture, music, and poetry of the Appalachian Mountains, through the eyes of the hard working women who called these hills their home. The sound score is comprised of a an original composition by Anna Roberts-Gevalt and Carla Gover along with a collection of recorded thoughts told by Appalachian native, Lou Crites and two traditional ballads sung and performed by Donna Ray Norton and Luke Abbott
